Mediation is a primary component in my work. I also incorporate meditation practice using a Muse headband, giving real-time feedback on how well your meditation is going. Muse is a research-grade EEG device that passively senses your brain activity and translates it to guide you through your meditation. It lets you know when you’re doing well and when you’re not. When your mind is calm and settled, you hear peaceful weather sounds. As your focus drifts, you’ll hear stormy weather that cues you to bring your attention back to your breath. If you would like to experience meditation with Muse, I will supply the device. All you have to do is download the Muse app. A session with the Muse feedback will teach you how to meditate.
Once you experience how it feels to head in the right direction, you are better able to re-create this experience on your own. We can begin or end the training session with ten, fifteen, or twenty minutes of Muse-guided meditation. You can decide when and how often you want to include the Muse experience into your training sessions.
